My mom loved the color Purple. She loved the color purple so much, she had my dad paint the front door purple. And the awning over the door too. Along with their bathroom. She wanted to paint their bedroom purple, but dad put his foot down. He wasn’t a purple kind of guy.
Mom’s birthday was yesterday, January 23rd. Since she loved purple, I made a purple soap. Mom’s birthday soap.

Mom would ask me to make her purple soaps to display in her purple bathroom. I think she would have loved this one.

I needed to accent the purple and I did that with teal and hot pink. Mom was a sparkly fun sort of person, so I added plenty of glitter to the top. Think of the Red Hat Revolution. She wasn’t a member, but could have been their leader.

I made this soap on my December 21st Facebook Live and cut it on December 22nd.
This is a 3.5 ounce soap bar made with olive oil, coconut oil, palm oil, shea butter, mango butter and cocoa butter. I scented it with lavender essential oil with a touch of a violet fragrance oil. It’s a spring breeze in the middle of winter. Floral and sweet. Colorful and bold. Just like my mom.

Mom’s Birthday Soap is for all ages. It appeals to the little girl and the grown up adult woman who wants to have fun.
Yours in Gratitude,
Angela
