Natural Deodorant

Natural Deodorants

I’ve been using a natural deodorant for a while now. There are so many good ones available, there’s no need for me to make my own. My problem is, which one to use? I found four that I love and want to share with you. Here is my full disclosure. Although I paid for each deodorant, all the talented women who make them are my friends. Since I love and use them all, I’ll do this in alphabetical order.

Handcrafted Honeybee. I met Stacia at the 2X4 conference in Nashville, but I knew of her from the Indie Business Network, a group we both belong to. She’s a former teacher and her company also sells educational “create-your-own” kits. I tried her Lavender and Rose deodorant. The scent is ultra feminine, with lavender and geranium essential oils. She has a few others scents to choose from, but this one is my favorite.

Peony Rose Botanicals. Jo Anne and I share a love of natural perfuming and have taken some classes together. She’s also a certified aromatherapist.  I purchased her Forest Fresh blend. Jo Anne uses a blend of bergamot, cedar, vetiver and fir needle to create a true forest-like experience. She also has a lavender scented deodorant, which works really well with my Lavender soap.

Soapwalla.  Rachel’s deodorant was my first introduction to naturals. She had a booth at a trade show and I stopped by to chat.  I’ve only tried her original deodorant cream, and now she’s added a citrus scent. The original is made with lavender, tea tree, sweet orange, peppermint and bergamot.  It smells clean and fresh.

Violets are Blue. I was assisting in a soap making class when I met Cynthia. She is a breast cancer survivor and took classes to start her own skin care line. Her Beloved Line is created especially for women going through chemo.  Violets are Blue deodorant is scented with lemongrass and tea tree, and also comes in extra strength.

If you are thinking of trying a natural deodorant, these products are a great place to start.

Yours in Gratitude,

Angela

I stopped using antiperspirants a while ago. I love natural deodorants. I find that if I also use a little powder (the no talc kind) I don’t miss the antiperspirant.

Donna these deodorants are so good I haven’t felt the need to use a talc free powder. The clay and baking soda seem to do a great job of absorbing perspiration for me.

I have been looking at Handcrafted Honeybees deodorants, I think I may pick up the sample selection. I have such a hard time finding a women’s deodorant that doesn’t make me break out into rashes. I had to switch and use men’s deodorants instead, but I would love to use something more feminine. 🙂 Thank you for the post!

Cherish Handcrafted Honeybee’s sample pack is a great idea. You’re sure to find a scent you love.
