The Victoria

 

I got the idea for The Victoria gift set talking with some friends over a cup of tea.  Lavender tea, that is.

I love collaborating with other makers.  I met Kristine at the Woman’s Expo a few years ago. She was selling tea and I was selling soap. Kristine owns a tea bar in West Sayville called Infuse Tea Bar.  She has a Fig and Lavender tea that I’ve become addicted to. It’s that good.

I was sharing her tea with some friends, when I had an idea.  Since I think of my soaps as my girl friends, and I have a lavender soap I named Victoria, why not make a box with lavender themed products and include Kristine’s tea?

I quickly asked my friends to think of things they’d like to see in a gift box. I wanted to make some products that aren’t on my website to make the box special.  Someone suggested a lavender sachet, someone else said lavender lotion.  I sent a message to Kristine, asking if I could purchase her Fig and Lavender tea samples for the box. She quickly said yes and set out to make them for me.

The Victoria

The Victoria Gift Set contains a lavender soap, lavender lotion, lavender bath fizzie, lavender scented oil, lavender sachet, a scrubbie for washing and Kristine’s Fig and Lavender tea.  I had a card printed up with Victoria’s story (she lives on the Upper West side), and put everything together in a beautiful white box. Use the soap to wash with, the lotion to sooth your dry skin and the scented oil to keep you calm all day. In the evening, make yourself a cup of Kristine’s tea, and drink it in a lavender scented bath.

I think the gift set is as beautiful and elegant as Victoria is.
