There’s a reason why I make the unofficial Large Lip Balm of Long Island. I got tired of losing mine in my bag!
It’s obvious why a larger lip balm rocks.
First, they are hard to lose. I can reach in my handbag now and easily find my tube. If it’s out on the counter in the kitchen, it’s easy to see. And you know when you’re in bed and turn out the light to fall asleep, don’t you Always realize your lips are dry? So easy to reach in the dark.
Can I tell you how many clothes I ruined by not checking pockets before washing? (I know, I really should do that). These are big enough you’ll know they are in your pocket. And don’t get me started about lip balms in the dryer…
Those small tubes? They hold 0.15 ounces. Our lip balm tubes hold 0.5 ounces of creamy lusciousness. For the math challenged, that’s more than 3 small tubes in each large one.
I started out with 2 flavors. Well, one unflavored lip balm (Naked) and one flavored (Brown Sugar). Soon I added Vanilla to the mix. Those are the staples now, but I like to add a Limited Edition flavor every so often. We’ve had Peppermint, Strawberry, Bourbon and Champagne. Right now, I have Coffee Bean flavor on the website.
Here’s a little secret I tell my customers when they buy one. Our Large Lip Balms also double as hand cream/cuticle cream.
Picture this. Your in a public bathroom and when you wash your hands, you need to use that awful substance they call “soap” (they should really call it liquid detergent). Your done washing, but now your hands are so dry! Open your your large lip balm, rub a little into your palm and rub it all over your hands. Instant relief! Put on a little extra for those dry cuticles too.
Yours in Gratitude,
Angela

Such a smart idea to use the large lip balm after using the liquid detergent in public restrooms. Thanks for the suggestion!
