June’s soap is a rainbow soap. My grandson Luke loves this one. As long as I don’t make it with peppermint essential oil. So this one was made with lavender.
I originally made this soap on a Facebook Live on my personal page, and it took quite a bit of time to figure out how to get it to my business page. (Thank you Wendy!)
Making the soap took a while. About a half hour. I made 6 separate batches so the layers of color would be straight. And cleaning up the mess took over an hour. I do think the end result was worth it though.
Lavender is easy to work with, and I kinda think it goes with a rainbow. So does glitter. Did I mention this soap is topped with glitter? I think I used either 2 or 3 kinds, I can’t remember.
It’s always exciting to cut a rainbow soap and see how it turned out. I did have a few with uneven layers, and those soaps are being cut up and will be used in Soap for Soup.
Like most of my soaps, this soap is made with olive oil, coconut oil, palm oil and shea butter. You can purchase it on my website under Facebook Live Soaps.
Yours in Gratitude,
Angela
