Rosemary Lavender Soap

Rosemary Lavender is the scent combination I almost never made.

I love Rosemary and I love lavender. To me, they blend so well together. I played with different percentages of each oil and came up with a blend I liked.

But I almost never made the soap again.

I had just started Alegna Soap® and someone told me that rosemary reminded her of her mother cooking chicken. She thought it was all wrong in a soap.

It just goes to show you, don’t listen to what other people think. Listen to your gut. Stop trying to make everyone happy. If you like something, go for it. (That’s just a little life lesson in there)

Lavender is a sweet herb-like scent and rosemary is a fresh green herbaceous scent. My nose tells me they smell great in a soap.

I decided to try it together again, but with more lavender. It’s sweeter, more floral and smells nothing like chicken cooking on the oven. I even added some ground rosemary, because, why not?

I made this soap on a Facebook Live on August 1st, and cut it on August 2nd.

This is truly a limited edition soap. Once it’s gone, it’s gone.
