Description
While I was making soap on a YouTube Live, someone requested I make a black, gold and white soap. They didn’t care the scent or style.
I’d been playing around with a hanger swirl and decided to try it again. My first hanger swirl attempt was for a soap with a masculine scent. This one would be ultra feminine.
Using gardenia and patchouli essential oils, this soap is exactly what I was going for.
Gardenia is one of the Queens of the florals. It’s sultry, sexy and sweet. It can hold its own alone, but I like it better in blends. And a little goes a long way.
Patchouli is the scent of my youth. Everyone wore it in the 70’s. It’s an earthy, warm and smoky aroma. I love to use it to add depth to blends.
At 6 ounces, it’s a large soap, I may cut mine in half so it’s easier to hold.
Made on Long Island with Olive, Coconut, Palm oils and Shea butter. And of course, a sprinkle of gold glitter for the top.
