It’s official! Both grandchildren love the bubble machine! We visited Elaine and Leo this weekend and brought the bubble machine with us. Brian and baby Brian (I like to call them B squared when they are together) were both running around the yard, chasing after those mysterious round balls that float in the air. And once again, it’s hard to decide who was having more fun.
Brian tried to teach him how to “pop” the bubbles. He would say “bink” every time they popped one. Baby Brian thought it was hysterical.
Baby Brian thinks his namesake is amazing. His whole face lights up when he sees Brian. I’ll admit to being a little jealous, but only a little. It’s great to see them bond and to watch my Brian act like a kid again. When our children were young, Brian was the fun parent. Once, in the middle of winter he promised them he would take them swimming while I was working one Saturday. He didn’t count on the school pool being closed for repairs. My daughter was heartbroken, so he brought the kiddie pool into the kitchen and filled it up with warm water. I came home to all three of them in their bathing suits splashing around. I’m grateful I married a man who thinks up these crazy things, because it never would have crossed my mind.
I’m also grateful Brian talked me into getting the bubble machine for Alegna Soap®. I don’t do that many outdoor events so I thought it might be a waste of money. I’ve been trying to clear the clutter from my house by getting rid of unused items and I didn’t want another something sitting on a shelf collecting dust. But both my grandchildren absolutely love it, so it was worth it even if I never use it again.
What are you grateful for this week?
Yours in Gratitude,
Angela

Bubbles and Babies! What a great combination! Uncle Jimmy and Auntie Gay wish Baby Brian lived closer so we could see more of him.

We wish he lived closer too Gay!
