Coronavirus Gratitude List
My friend Marla Bosworth of Back Porch Soap runs a group on Facebook called Natural Beauty and Wellness Entrepreneurs. Every Friday she does a “Meet the Creative” series and last Friday I was in the spotlight. One of Marla’s comments to me was she loved my Gratitude Blog. I realized I haven’t done one in the original format for a long while, so here goes my coronavirus gratitude list.
1- My Husband
I’m truly grateful for Brian. After knowing him for 45 years, I can honestly say I still like him. We’ve spent so much time together in the past weeks, and there is no one I’d rather be in quarantine with.
2. My Family
I’m grateful for my family, that right now we are all healthy and taking the precautions we need to stay that way.
3. My Kids
I love these two for the fine human beings they turned out to be. And especially because they gave me these boys.
4. My Customers and Students
Because without them, I wouldn’t be able to do what I love. Lately the days seem to run together. I look forward to doing a Facebook Live at 4pm every day. It’s the high point of my day, because I feel connected to my soapy people.
5. And All the Rest
The food on my table, clothes on my back, the sunshine in the morning and the moon in the sky at night. For the car I drive and the money I have to fill the tank with gas. That my legs work, and so do my eyes and ears and the rest of my body. My friends, the ones I see in Zoom meetings and the ones I wave to in my neighborhood.
I’m grateful for really simple things too. A soft tissue when I need to blow my nose, a washing machine in my basement, post-it notes to help me remember all the stuff I keep forgetting, and a blanket to use when I’m cold. Clean drinking water. A hot shower. Pencils with erasers. Once you start thinking it isn’t hard to find things to be grateful for.
What is your coronavirus gratitude list?
Yours in Gratitude,
Angela
