It’s Tuesday night and I’m just writing my weekly gratitude for last week. A little late because we watched Luke Dominik a few days when my son and daughter-in-law went away.
Brian showed him how to turn on my bubble machine. He figured out how to make the bubbles come out fast and slow.
He checked out the garden. He didn’t like walking in the dirt. It was uneven and he felt a little unsteady. I had to carry him out.
He spent time with his favorite great-grandma. I’m not sure who had more fun, my mom or Luke.
He loved taking a bath in our sink. Brian gave him a cup and he was pouring water all over himself and laughing.
The next day Brian went to work and I took him to the school yard down the block. By myself. It was the first time since he was born I had him all to myself for any length of time. When we got back to the house I gave him a wooden spoon and some pots and tops. He loved making noise! Watching him play was the best time I’ve had in a long time.
So you can see how busy I was being grateful the kids went away and that I had time with Luke Dominik. 🙂
What are you grateful for this week?
Yours in Gratitude,
Angela
