At any event or fair I do, I’m asked at least once “Do you make a liquid soap?”
The truth is I have, but I don’t want to. I’m a bar soap girl.
I like holding a bar of soap in my hands. Wetting a washcloth and soaping it up. Pressing the sliver of the last bar into a new one. Being able to smell the bars sitting on my shower shelf and deciding which one to use. I can easily have multiple bars in my bathroom, they hardly take up any room.
Bar soap is made with Sodium Hydroxide, liquid uses Potassium Hydroxide. The chemistry is similar, but the procedure to make each is a little different. To be honest, liquid takes longer to make and is a little more complicated. I just don’t enjoy making it.
I do like a liquid soap in my kitchen, so I buy mine from my friend Michelle.
Michelle is Mama Suds.
What I love about Michelle’s products is she uses essential oils, like I do. No fragrances oils at all. She also has unscented products and cleaning supplies. Laundry soap, dishwashing detergent and toilet bombs. (Give your kid a toilet bomb and watch them clean your toilet!) Pretty much everything you need to keep your house clean, naturally.
So, if you’re looking for a great liquid soap, (and great cleaning supplies) check out Mama Suds. I’ll keep making my bar soap and leave the liquid to Michelle.
Yours in Gratitude,
Angela
