My husband has been asking me for a long while now to make a “Manly-Man” soap. A really large bar of soap with a male scent. He said it should smell strong and confident. He was absolute about the color too. Browns and greens, earth tones, so the dirt won’t show when you wash your hands with it. Something that can’t be mistaken for a “girly” soap. And some scrubbie things in it, cause they feel good.
I made this soap on my December 17th, 2021 Facebook Live. Brain joined me the next day to help cut it. He keeps coming to the soap studio to check on how they are curing. I think he’s marking his territory.
This is an 8 ounces soap bar (twice the size of my usual bars) and the aroma is pure outdoor man. Palmarosa with cedarwood, cypress, with a touch of patchouli, it smells right at home in the woods. So of course, that’s where I photographed it. It looked right at home too. I added some crushed apricot seeds (cause Brian likes those scrubbie things)
I gotta tell you, I made it for him but I love it and am keeping a bar for myself. The Manly-Man Soap is ready and up on the website.
Yours in Gratitude,
Angela
