Description
Usually, I create a Valentine’s Day soap for women. Pink and floral scented with hearts and glitter. This year, I wanted to make a larger soap my customers can purchase for the significant man in her life, and/or themselves. I blended some earthy smelling essential oils and got started.
The first impression is Sage Dalmation. Clean, aromatic, and slightly peppery, with a silvery, herbal freshness that feels both calming and clarifying. As the lather builds, the scent of Cypress emerges—cool, green, and resinous. Finally, Vetiver grounds everything. Earthy, dry, and subtly smoky.
Together, the scent is natural and unisex, refreshing without being sharp, grounding without being heavy. It feels like clean skin after a hike: fresh, centered, and quietly confident.
At 6 ounces, it’s a large soap, I may cut mine in half so it’s easier to hold. My husband won’t. He likes large soaps.
It doesn’t look like a Valentine’s Day soap. White base, with olive, forest green and plum swirls, it can be a soap for any time of the year. Made with olive oil, coconut oil, beef tallow, shea butter, avocado oil, babassu oil, rice bran oil, and palm oil.
