There are 3 things we all need- a roof over our head, clothes on our backs, and food on our table. I am grateful to have all of these things and more. I’m also aware that not everyone is as lucky as I am. That’s where the Soap for Soup sale comes in.
Soap for Soup Sale
I started Soap for Soup as a way to give back to my community. I wanted to return the support a close friend of mine received when her husband walked out on her and her 2 children. During the month of February, in honor of my father, all my Soap for Soup is on sale for $3.00 a bar. The bars usually sell for $5.00, so Alegna Soap® will also donate $2.00 for every bar sold. I have 100 bars and I hope at the end of the month I hope to be able to write a check out to the St Martin of Tours food pantry for $500.00.
The pantry is available to all regardless of religion and 100% of the money goes to purchase food. You can order online or email me to pick up if you live locally.
It’s so easy to take our abundance of food for granted. Take a minute to say thank you for all you have, and help me raise some money for those who don’t.
