Description
My Vampire soap started out as a major fail.
Years ago, I wanted to make a red and white peppermint soap for Christmas. I purchased a red mica, and made 30 bars. Unfortunately, I ordered the red mica I use for bath bombs and the soap “bled”.
I mean, it look like some serious “Psycho in the Shower” bleeding was going on. It was an epic fail. What was I going to do with this soap? I didn’t think I could even give them away.
This was around 2010, during the Twilight craze. You remember that Cullen family? All those sexy vampires. Sigh. I had a brilliant idea to market it as a gag soap. A Vampire soap that “bleeds”
It was so popular I had to make another 2 batches.
This soap is made with Fennel, Cypress and Lavender. An earthy scent spiked with some sweet lavender. Kinda like how Barnabas Collins would smell. (Hey, Dark Shadows was the Twilight of my youth!) Warm, earthy and freshly dug up.
I like to think this is a vampire friendly soap.
I made this soap on August 29th on a Facebook Live. It’s made with the same amazing base oils as my other soaps (olive oil, coconut oil, palm oil and shea butter) and will leave your skin ready when that special someone nuzzles your neck.
