The Christmas Box
I’ve never been the “Happy Holidays” type of person. I’ll ask you what you celebrate and wish you a happy whatever-that-is. If you don’t celebrate anything, I’ll wish you a peaceful winter.
Technically, this isn’t my first Christmas without my mom. She died last year on Christmas Eve. Truth is, I don’t remember anything about last Christmas. We were in the middle of COVID, and the vaccine hadn’t been approved yet. There was no wake, just a small mass and funeral. The whole thing is a blur.
I don’t want to miss Christmas again this year. I want to honor my mom (and dad) with lots of Christmas traditions. Family and food. Church and Santa. And Christmas smells. And while it may not be politically correct to make a gift set for only one holiday, indulge me.
I want to introduce you to the Alegna Soap Christmas Box.
Three Kings Soap– The gifts of the Magi were Gold, Frankincense and Myrrh. Spiritual, solemn and sacred scent. (Frankincense, Myrrh and Lavender)
Orange Clove Pomander– A Victorian Christmas memory right up there with hot cocoa and stringing popcorn. Start a new tradition and hang this soap on your tree before using. (Orange, Red Brazilian Mandarin, Cinnamon and Clove)
Snowy Forest– A shivering winter woodland, hushed & quiet, silent & serene. This is what peace and quiet smell like. (Fir Needle, Eucalyptus and Rosemary)
Candy Cane Kiss– A sultry brush of the lips, warm and icy at the same time. A calorie free minty essential for your Christmas. (Peppermint, Spearmint and Wintergreen)
A beautiful wooden soap dish and a soap net comes with the Christmas Box.
