Melt and Pour Soap Making Kit
Are you starting to run out of things for your children to do during lock down? Tired of all the TV watching and video game playing? Looking for ways for them to be creative? Do you want them to Want to wash their hands? (Can I ask how many times you’ve asked them to do that?) How about a melt and pour soap making kit for them to make at home? It’s easy, fun, and they won’t be able to wait to take a bath!
Each kit includes detailed instructions, 10 ounces of melt and pour soap, 3 soap molds with covers, 3 cups, 3 Popsicle sticks, 2 body safe fragrances, 2 body safe colors, and a package of body safe glitter. (Because who can resist washing with a soap that contains glitter?) Since this is melt and pour soap, your children can use the soap eight hours later, as soon as it cools completely.
The kit is meant to be done with a parents supervision. The directions are easy to understand, but just in case, you can watch me demonstrate how to make the soap. You’ll need a microwave, cutting board, Pyrex pitcher and sharp knife (to cut the soap into smaller pieces) to get started.
Remember when you were a kid and wanted to be a mad scientist? Here’s where a soap making kit will help. Children love mixing colors and fragrances. They love creating, and they love using what they have made. It’s easy clean up too. It’s soap!
Maybe if you’re lucky, you’ll be able to steal a bar from them.
Five dollars from this kit goes to a local food pantry.
