Having Business Besties

I love my group of business besties and this post is a blatant attempt to show off the pictures from our last trip. We met formally in Aruba right in January 2020, and now we meet in Myrtle Beach every year. This was trip number 4.

I look forward to this trip every year. I love all my friends, but my friends who live near me don’t own businesses. While they listen to me if I want to talk about something business related, it’s my business besties who can offer suggestions that have worked for them.

This is me, Sandy, Christine and Roberta.

And here is Laura, Jen and Michelle.

Each year we hire a photographer to take pictures. Jen started this tradition, and it’s become one of my favorite things to do.

This years theme was mermaids. Jen painstakingly made each of us a mermaid crown. She said they took hours of sequin, gems and hot glue. work. They were gorgeous. The thing is, she was in such a rush to get to Myrtle Beach she forgot our crowns! Her husband drove 6 hours round trip to drop them off.

We ask people who are eating at other tables to take our picture.

I found this bar called “The Chemist” and thought it’d be appropriate to have my picture taken under the sign. I mean, soap making is chemistry…

And we take pictures for each other. Jen brought this pink dress and we took turns dressing up. The top was a little too large for me, so Jen stuffed it with a pink towel. Lol
