My Gratitude for Soap Making
I have so much gratitude for soap making. It has brought me much more joy than I ever dreamed possible.
I never believed I was a creative person. Once I started making soap, I knew it was just a matter of finding the right medium.
I love the texture of soap. It changes as you make it. I also love blending scents. Our sense of smell is usually artistically forgotten about. I enjoy being creative with this sense. Each soap has it’s own personality and should have a scent to match.
Soap making is also an escape for me. I lose all track of time in my studio. It brings me joy on bad days, sends me over the top on good days.
I’ve grown because of soap making. I’m more comfortable speaking to people I don’t know. I’m learning how to run my business. I’m teaching soap making to adults and skin care classes to elementary students. I’m presenting at conferences. I’m meeting and collaborating with others. All because of soap making.
Is there something you do that you are grateful for?
Yours in Gratitude,
Angela
I truly loved seeing these pics of your beautiful soaps! Thank you for sharing.
Thank you Alex, I really do enjoy creating them.
The soap is beautiful, I have never seen so many colors and beauty.
Thank you Sharon.
Angela, your soaps are so beautiful and artful. I had no idea you could do that with soap. A wonderful inspiration. Thank you!
Thank you Joan. I love making them.
My favorite part of soap making was creating scent blends. Your soaps are so pretty. I’ve tried your starry night soap and it was so creative and lovely. I really like the way your lace soaps look. I adore lace.
That’s my favorite part too Donna. I’ve taken a few natural perfuming classes and I’ve found it really helps me with my blends for soap.
